INAUGURATION OF M B A 2019 BATCH & INDUCTION PROGRAMME SHUBHAKANKSHA
25th Sept 2019: Multifaceted skill education is necessary to redeem the gap between the need of the industry and academics.’ Opined Dr Vishnukant S Chatapalli, former adviser NAAC Banglore,& Professor of Department of BA at Rani Channamma Univerisity. He was inaugurating the induction programme of MBA students of 2019 ‘SHUBHAKANKSHA’ at Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology, Hosapete. He further said, ‘Management education was a much later phenomenon in our country. However, after the globalization management education gained momentum and predominance. A right person, at right place and with right skill is need of the hour. Even migrating to the other countries for further education or employment, a degree from reputed organization is very much essential. Even today the enrollment scenario is bleak in higher education. Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) has marginally increased from 24.5% to 25.2% which is still very low.’
Addressing the gathering Principal Dr S M Shashidhar said, “In the era of economy slowdown, managerial positions become important to excel the enterprises to save from the downfall. The managers should have an ability which blends of knowledge of globalised scenario and current local circumstances. Technical skills have to be tempered with managerial abilities. ’
Delivering the presidential address, the chairman of P D I T, Hosapet, said,’in modern era equality, it is delightful that the girls are encouraged to get education. Aspirations and need of the society should not be forgotten in present commercial environment’
